Time to get into the technology game...

A good friend asked me the other day why the Barnes' don't have a family blog. The question stemmed from the fact that I work for an internet marketing/software company and seem to be in the know as far as what is going on in the world of technology. So with that preface, these first couple of posts may be experimental and be kind of weak, so bear with me. Actually, wait until I give Shelley the reins of this project and our blog will be a thing of beauty. A quick update from us: Shelley is as amazing as ever and the highlight and love of my life. She is finishing up the last semester of school and will graduate with her degree in technical sales. Ever the health nut, she spends a good 2 hours each day in the gym and looks fantastic. She has even managed to drag my sorry butt to the gym on a couple of occasions (I am still sore from the experience and it was a month ago. HA!!!). Shelley is a great mother and London adores her mom. London finds instant solace from any woe when she cuddles up in her mom's arms. It makes dad a little jealous, but I am appreciate the wonderful mom that Shelley is. Shelley always keeps me on my toes and brings light into the lives of everyone she meets. London seems to follow after her mom in the way that she interacts with people. Everyone loves and adores her the second they see her. I know that I am a little biased, but she is the most beautiful little girl on the planet. She is growing way to fast and it always makes me sad when I look at pictures of her from when she was younger. I want her to stay little and cuddly forever. London has Shelley and I always on the run. She has been mobile(moving on all fours like a gazelle) for the last month or so and should be walking shortly(we think!) She has such a happy persona and really is a great baby. She brings such joy into our home and I can't imagine living without her. As far as I am concerned, I am blessed beyond measure. I have the most beautiful family and the Lord has given me more than I deserve. My job is going well, I love our home and the area that we live in, and I have the best friends anyone could ask for. I love all of you guys and appreciate the times when I get to hear from you or see you. Thanks for all that you do. Have a great Thanksgiving!!! -Tyler B
