My beautiful valentine...
I haven't written anything in a long time and I feel bad about that. I have just been pushing it off for too long and my fans deserve it. I just want to tell the world that I love my sweet wife and that I am lucky that she is as patient as kind as she is. This has been a rough month for work, meaning that I have been travelling a ton, and Shelley never complains. I often am the one complaining, and she has to play single mom for weeks at a time. She is such a wonderful mother and wife. I love her so much and truly do appreciate her. This week is valentine's day and we are celebrating it a day early. I have to work in vegas on Saturday and Shelley is going to meet me there for a special night. Shelley will have to tell you what we do cause I don't want to ruin it for her if she happens to read this post before she hops on a flight today. It is going to be fun and so nice to be with my baby. I am excited for valentine's day and I hope you all have a wonderful day with your loved ones as well! PS. I love my new toy, the iPhone. I wrote this entire post while laying in my bed just typing away on my phone. I love technology, and I think everyone needs an iPhone!

Beware of....
Pink eye folks! London has it and I have no clue where she got it. Other than that she's been a happy child! She cracks me up daily. So, this might be bad on a parental view but, when I put on make-up, sometimes I put it on London. Not all the time! But, she asks for her "makelup." I finally took some pictures of her all dolled up. Tyler and I were dying because she was walking around like she was pretty hot stuff. Something funny happened yesterday. We had been at my parents and were currently going to the store. My family was calling me frantically because London had been playing with my dad's keys and they were lost. I kept saying that I didn't know where they were and it wasn't my fault because I didn't give them to her. So they last phone call I finally asked London. As the convo goes:
Me: London did you play with Poppa's keys?
London: Yeah I pay wif Poppa's keys and they fell.
Me: They did? Where did they fall?
London: be the bed. (Yeah I said Be. I think she meant behind)
Me: Whose bed sweetie?
London: Poppa's.
Me: Mimi and Poppa's bed?
London: Yes, yes, yes.
And what do you know! That's where they fell. Who knew that you could ask a 2 year old something and she would give you not only an accurate answer but an honest one in such detail!

I've been waiting....
for Tyler to do a blog post. Apparently I've waited long enough. Thank you to all of you friends who sent me your numeros: Jodie, Ryann, Lyndsay, Bong, Etc. However, Amy, Sarah, Carly, Etc. need to tell me so I can keep in touch! That said, there really hasn't been any news in our little family. London is growing up so fast.
She hates the process of doing her hair but loves to look at herself afterwards. She's also taken up laying on the couch with her blankie and sippie
and trying to help Mommy do chores, specifically hanging up kitchen towels. (After she's already pulled them off a million times.)
If you can't tell, she has a huge wad of gum in her mouth. Like her father, she loves bubble gum. She's also added an -ie to every word. For example: shoesies, sockies, milkie, sippie, blankie, gummie, etc. I personally think she got it from my mother. I may be an adult with a child of my own but my mom still asks me if I know where my "shoesies" are. The funniest new things she has done with words is add an L is an odd place. She says, "I lovelu" and "blankelet" and "makelup". It is so funny. London must have her "makelup" in the car to entertain her. I basically bought her bubblegum flavored chapstick and she thinks its lipstick. Oh, children are so easily fooled. That's about it in our lame lives!

Bad News Folks!
Although my phone survived a dunk in the toilet, it died sadly by being drowned in milk. (The toilet was London, the milk was Tyler.) Hence, the need for all contact numbers! My SIM card was completely ruined. If all of you wonderful people who have my numero could text me your name with your number I would greatly appreciate it!

Merry Christmas!
Well, it was quite a holiday folks! Since I totally slacked on writing anything about Thanksgiving, I'm here to redeem myself for this holiday. We started out the holidays with having Tyler's brother and sister come over for dinner and games (Tues night). Tyler's mom lives in Japan so we used the webcam to see her. She had sent London on Origami frog that the child literally laughed herself to hysteria. Tyler caught the end of the laughter on video.
It was fun to see his family and play games! For Christmas Eve we traveled up to my grandparents for the festivities. Of course there was way to much delicious food and my six extra pounds for the month of December is sticking, unfortunately. The nativity scene included London as a distracted Mary and my nephew Sam as the best baby Jesus ever! Well, London has been asking about Santa for weeks now and I seriously worried about how she'd handle the "real" Santa at my grandma's. He knocked loudly on the door and said his "Ho, ho, ho," and London wrapped her arms around my neck scared to death.
However, when he walked in the door she surprised us all by screaming "Sanna! Sanna!" It was precious! She went right to him and sat on his lap.
She loved the presents! We did discover that London is quite jealous of mommy holding other babies. She feels that if I'm holding a baby than I should be holding her too.
We had a talent show as well and I was so proud of my family! WOW! She was so tired that she sat on Poppa's lap and wanted to cuddle.
That night was a mess. London would not go to sleep and ended up staying awake until after midnight and waking up at four a.m. We were all so tired! I finally let her open up some presents at midnight because I really didn't think she'd be awake in the morning. Wrong. So all of us climbed on the stairs for our glamorous morning pic.
I have to say that Maddie looks like a devil. She'll love that. London loved playing with her cousins and all of her gifts.
But, by the end of the day we were exhausted! Everyone was trying to stay awake.
It's too bad that Christmas is over already. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday!

Why do I....
spend every morning putting the utmost effort in my child's hair? I'm telling you, it is a serious battle. The main issue is that after we have wrestled, combed, curled, cried, and hair sprayed, she takes a nap. hair-do ruined. So, Why do I do it every single day!!!!!!??? The answer is, for the pure self-assurance that I'm not lazy and I like my child to look clean and done up....even if it doesn't finish the day like that.
