It's my man's....

birthday!!!! I have to write a little tribute to the hubs because he is truly a gem. For instance, besides working away and traveling to point of exhaustion from continual jet lag, he will come home and work his guts out in the basement. This is tough work, especially by himself and even if my dad comes over. Ty never complains and even when I'm a whiny woman, he just tells me to take a nap and relax. If and when I take a nap, I'll wake up to a clean house and a happy little girl. He's a wonderful provider, father, and husband. I couldn't imagine a man being so observant and attentive to two girls, but he does it! The man is endlessly affectionate and complimentary and the vanity in me just eats it up! (So does London. She'll twirl around the room a million times if he'll tell her how pretty she looks.) Tyler is wonderful in every way. He's so sweet and I have to say he is looking pretty hot lately, working out like a machine even on the road with 4 hours of sleep. I'm a woman with many faults but, I made the best choice in my life to marry this man. I love you Tyler and hope you have a wonderful birthday.

Question.....

I've been hearing about a lot of people going on these expensive vacays. My question is where do they get the money? If you can afford it, that's great. But, if you're in debt to go to a sunnier place is it really worth it? I don't know....maybe I should just wonder about this to myself. I, personally, like St. George. Thoughts?

It's a boy!!!...for my sister, Mandy and her hubs, Trent. Also, It's a girl for Tyler's little sister, Arycca and her husband, Bill! Congrats to all! Last Friday, London went out with my parents to a reception and was able to wear her new outfit that Mimi gave her. It was so cute. She just had to have her picture taken a million times. Since this is three catch-up posts in one day, I think I'll say my adieu!

London's birthday was so cute. I woke her up and let her open up her outfit for the day and she basically looked at them and then looked at me like, "This....is it?" She then said very quietly, "Thank you, Mommy." I quickly said, "Don't worry, I have better at Mimi's tonight!" Which, I totally did! My siblings were so nice to come have a little party at my mom's since Tyler was gone. London had been having a really hard time missing her daddy and was really disappointed he wasn't there for her birthday. She got a bag of faux make-up, a stroller, blocks, puzzles,....way too much. Her baby stroller was a hit as was her make up. The make up has a little blow dryer that makes a loud noise and she loves it! That night, she was pretty attached to her toys and forgot about the party. It's so sad, yet rewarding to see how big she's growing up to be. Lewie's so smart she figured out how to open her dad's iphone and get into the games. What can I say, I'm biased!

Well, since my computer has been down, I've been seriously behind on updating. As this is essentially a journal for our little family, I knew this could be a long post. Hence, the reason for doing it in multiple posts starting with Valentine's day. Tyler has been gone a month and during this time our child has been extremely difficult. To give me a break and some fun in my life, he flew me to Vegas to meet him on one of his travel days. I literally landed at four in the afternoon and left at six the next morning. Although it was a short trip, it was so nice to see my hubs. We got to the hotel and Tyler gave me a nice box of chocolates and a sweet card. Being pregnant and demanding, we immediately walked right back out the door to go to dinner and see if we could find a show. We went to a nice restaurant called the Grand Lux. We finished at 6:58 p.m. and knew that Phantom of the Opera started at seven. On a whim, we decided to see if we could get tickets. We totally did! It was amazing and so much fun! The lady who played Christine had the most clear and beautiful voice! After that, with my already fatigued body and Tyler's horrible jet lag, we literally climbed in bed, ate our chocolates and zonked out before eleven. But, oh what a Valentine's! It was great to get home on Saturday and spend V-day with my little angel.
